English Language Programme
We are an authorised centre for the University of
Cambridge examinations.
Early Years
Exposure to English begins from Nursery (Sala de 2). By the end of this stage, pupils understand basic vocabulary and commands in the language. They will also have acquired and incorporated the habit of learning a foreign language naturally.
Primary Level
The programme is intensified with ten hours of English per week from Year 1 to Year 7, culminating in an official certificate. From Year 1 to Year 5, pupils follow the Young Learners series (Starters, Movers and Flyers). In Year 6 and Year 7, they are prepared to sit the Preliminary English Test (PET) for Schools.
Secondary Level
In Year 3, students prepare for the First for Schools examination (Level B2), and in Year 5 for the Cambridge Advanced Examination (CAE). In Year 4 and Year 5 of Secondary School, we also project preparation for participation in the annual Translation Olympiad organised by the University of Belgrano through its Secondary Schools Programme.
