Early Years
In our nursery, every boy and girl is the protagonist of their own learning journey, playing, growing and discovering day by day. The Early Years level is the first step within our educational community. We provide a warm, secure and stimulating environment where every student can learn through play and exploration. We support these first learning experiences by respecting each child's pace, interests and individuality, fostering curiosity, creativity and autonomy.
• Environmental awareness: We promote environmental care through sustainable habits and commitment to the planet, serving as benchmarks with our own garden, butterfly house and composting area.
• English: From the earliest years, English is part of daily life through games, songs and playful activities that allow for a natural approach to a second language.
• Holistic development: We support the emotional, social, cognitive and physical growth of every child, strengthening their autonomy, self-esteem and core values.
• Playful landscapes: We create spaces for exploration and imagination built alongside students using reusable materials, transforming the classroom into places like the Amazon rainforest or the deep sea.
• Games for thinking: Play is the driver of learning. Through challenging activities, we stimulate thinking, problem-solving and social skills such as turn-taking.
• Sport and healthy living: We promote movement, physical activity and healthy habits as a fundamental part of childhood development, including swimming and field sports.
• Innovation and technology: We incorporate resources such as touchscreens and robotics kits to actively work on computational thinking and the responsible use of technology.
• Educational transition: We carefully support the progression to Primary level through a mentoring system with Year 6 pupils, ensuring continuity throughout the school journey.
• Lunch at the nursery: We share lunchtime as an ideal opportunity to work on healthy habits and the development of personal autonomy.
• Guidance and family partnership: We encourage communication and teamwork with families to support each child's unique journey through our institution.
